How Brilliantly Bazaar

By

Brooklyn Night Bazaar returns for a three-night extravaganza this Thursday through Saturday in Williamsburg. Independent vendors will be displaying the best of their wares, hawking everything from artwork to accessories to furniture. Even better, so will almost every food purveyor imaginable from Fatty Cakes and Comfort Food Kitchens, to Bon Chovie and Sour Puss Pickles. Plus, for the shopping-horde haters among you: a beer and wine garden to refresh and console the consumer-culture-weary. The warehouse the Bazaar is housed in will be transformed with lights and projections to create a cozy and warm environment for everyone, and especially to rid its visitors of possible nightmarish recollections of “Ye Old Shopping Mall.” To sweeten the deal even further, live music sets will be provided every night of the Bazaar, by the likes of such heavy hitters as Fucked Up, The Hold Steady (with their last show of 2011!), and a DJ set by James Murphy of LCD Soundsystem. Entrance to the Bazaar is free, and tickets for the different concerts range from only $10 to $22 (you can buy tickets here).
