In England, December 26th is more than just the day after Christmas–Boxing Day is loaded with its own set of traditions. Take part in what we’d consider a pretty authentic experience by heading to Park Slope’s Black Horse Pub on Monday. The pub, co-owned by an Anglo-American couple, will be screening the full lineup of Premier League soccer matches starting at 10am, when current league leaders Manchester City take on West Bromwich Albion and (this writer’s fave team) Arsenal play Wolverhampton. As it wouldn’t be Boxing Day without a surplus of food, at 2pm they’ll begin serving free bangers and mash. All in all, it’s a great way to stay in the festive spirit one more day.
