When was the last time you saw a cellist steal the mic? Never? Well, here’s your chance. Ladies Of Experimental Music and Super Coda present “A Night Of Singing Cellists” at Vaudeville Park. Five different cellists with different styles and backgrounds perform while video art, curated by Michelle Leftheris, screens behind them. The cellists range from the likes of Leah Coloff (who has performed alongside Philip Glass, David Byrne, Iggy Pop, and more) to Audrey Chen (who uses voice and analog electronics to accompany her cello). Delicious vegan cupcakes will also be served, compliments of Champs Family Bakery. Vaudeville Park is a New York Foundation for the Arts-sponsored non-profit, and asks for a $5-$15 donation for the night.
