Damn It Feels Good To Be A Gangster

By

“As far back as I can remember, I always wanted to be a gangster.” If that line doesn’t ring a bell because you’ve never seen Goodfellas, don’t tell anybody–that’s just lame. Instead, get over to BAM on Monday night and pretend you’ve seen the movie a thousand times like everyone else. Martin Scorsese’s movie adaptation of Nicholas Pileggi’s book Wise Guy is a cult classic which follows the life of gangster Henry Hill from mob errand boy to witness protection. Joe Pesci, Robert DeNiro and Ray Liotta are awesome (and also kind of hilarious), and Scorcese’s tiny, very Italian mother also has a cameo. The movie will be screening at 7:30pm, but get there early because Brooklyn Brewery will be hanging out in the lobby from 6:30 to 9:30 slinging samples of BAMboozle. Buy your tickets here.
