Remind yourself that the universe is a weird, unpredictable, and ever-mercurial place at a reading for a new book called The Moment: Wild, Poignant, Life-Changing Stories from 125 Writers and Artists Famous & Obscure at Fort Greene’s Greenlight Bookstore on Thursday night. Hear several of the collection’s talented contributors (many of them Brooklynites) who will share stories, comics, and tweets that draw on the notion that a large part of our experience is shaped by single, tiny moments that have far-reaching effects. The reading is free and begins at 7:30pm.
