At 7:30pm, Opera Moderne will be performing “Through the Eyes of Women: Intriguing Vocal Works by Female Composers,” featuring legendary ladies like Clara Schumann. At 9pm, they’ll be cranking up the sex appeal with a performance by the Hot Box Burlesque Revue, a singing, dancing burlesque troupe that will be performing classic songs from Tin Pan Alley and the Hollywood golden era. As if that weren’t enough girl power, 100% of the evening’s proceeds benefit Bottomless Closet, a worthy charity that helps give disadvantaged NYC women a leg up with interview skills, business clothes, and career development.
