The NY Family Camp Fair Tour–whose next stop is in the Prospect Heights/Park Slope area this Sunday, January 29–is a series of free events produced by New York Family magazine, therightcamp.com, and the American Camp Association-NY & NJ giving parents an opportunity to meet with dozens of camp directors in one place, and providing previews of the summertime experience that can have a huge, positive impact on campers. The wide variety of day and sleep away camps represented are perfect for children ages 3-17, and The Camp Fair Tour is the best way to help parents make informed decisions about which camp is “the perfect fit” for their child.
Renee Flax, the Director of Camper Placement of the American Camp Association, NY & NJ will be on hand at each of the New York Family Camp Fairs to answer parents’ questions and help guide them in their search for the right camp.
The Brooklyn stop on the Camp Fair Tour is:
Sunday, January 29th
12:00pm-3:00pm
Union Temple
17 Eastern Parkway
Between Plaza Street East and Underhill Avenue
Those who pre-register and attend the fair will be entered to win tickets to see My Sinatra, a pair of NJ Nets tickets or a Raleigh Bicycle for your kids! You can pre-register and receive more information at www.newyorkfamilycamps.com.
For those parents who can not attend this weekend’s camp fair go to www.therightcamp.com and take a look at profiles of over 75 day and sleep away camps from around the area. Profiles include letters from the directors, camp statistics, photos, videos and more.
