Pulling Mussels from the Shell

By

If you haven’t checked out The Castello Plan, one of the newer additions to the strip of amazing eats on Cortelyou Road in Ditmas Park, now you have the perfect reason. Every Monday in March, the much-acclaimed wine bar/restaurant is serving up all-you-can-eat mussels (paired with $4 draft beers) for $10 a head (despite the fact that the website says $15). Fun fact: the spot gets its somewhat unusual name from the first map of NYC, which was drafted in the 17th century by Jacques Cortelyou. It also boasts an attractive outdoor space, so take advantage of the weather we’ve been having and head on down.
