Heads up–Dekalb Market is re-opening for the fairer weather this weekend. If you had the pleasure of checking out the super-hip shipping-container-based market in 2011, you already know what you’re in for–great food, artisanal jewelry and clothes, beats, graffiti and more. Some new-and-old highlights this weekend include the return of Robicelli’s mythical chicken and waffle cupcake, Filipino food from Ditmas fave Purple Yam, and a taste of their new beer and wine garden featuring $1 mimosas before 2pm. There will be live music both days at 3pm, and a host of other great vendors. They’re not the only ones opening shop for the season–Smorgasburg and the Brooklyn Flea are re-opening this weekend, too. It’s official then: Spring is here.
