Along with great exhibitions like “Keith Haring 1978-1982,” a new series called Thursdays @ 7 is yet another reason to visit the Brooklyn Museum this month, which will be open every Thursday evening until 10 p.m. They’ve lined up a ton of exciting programs in April, including free gallery tours and fascinating lectures with scholars and pop culture icons, concerts, and film screenings. This Thursday at 7pm, McGill professor Thomas Heise talks about the burgeoning bohemia of Greenwich Village in the early twentieth century. There’s also a free tour at 6pm that explores the connections between working women in the museum’s African Art and American Art collections.
