Music’s Not For Everyone

By

This Sunday, after recovering from your brunchtime Bloody Marys and Sunday strolling, get your nightcap at The Knitting Factory with two of our favorite bands, Chain and The Gang (featured on our NYE Mixtape for 2011) and Brooklyn’s own Habibi. Chain and The Gang’s latest record, “Music’s Not For Everyone” is lo-fi, at times comical, garage-soul with enough tambourine to make you dance while you smile. Featuring Ian Svenonius (Nation Of Ulysses/ The Make-Up) on vocals, this is one of the group’s two NYC stops on their Spring 2012 tour. Opening up is another Brooklyn Based favorite, all girl psych-garage band, Habibi, who just finished a run of shows down to SXSW and back. Tickets are only $10-$12 and can be purchased here.
