Pun Times

Luckily, the shuttering of Southpaw earlier this year did not mean the end of NYC’s most puntastic competition, Punderdome 3000, which has found a new home at Littlefield. On Tuesday, the show that CBS recently named one of its “5 Best Things to Do in NYC Tonight” returns with special celebrity judge Ophira Eisenberg, who you might have recently seen at The Bell House, hosting NPR’s new game show, Ask Me Another. Anyone with a knack for punning is free to enter the race and be judged by the audience through a “human clap-o-meter,” but just being part of the riled-up regular crowd is a lot of fun too. Tickets are $7 at the door, but $6 if you buy them in advance, and the wild ride begins at 8pm.
