The Food Book Fair (which we previewed here) begins on Friday at the new Wythe Hotel, serving up three days of discussions and people dear to foodies. Highlights include a “foodieodicals” party with journals like Meatpaper and The Art of Eating; a talk with April Bloomfield and JJ Goode about cookbook ghostwriting; multiple panels on the intersection of food with art, activism, and science, like Harold McGee and Maxime Bilet’s “Food + Science + Creation”; plus special dinners. Tickets are sold by panel ($15 each), day ($65) or all three days ($215). You can also try to score a free pair of day passes or tickets to Foodieodicals through us: our contest continues till tomorrow am on our Facebook page!
