Yeah, yeah, we’ve all heard plenty about the Nets coming to town, but let’s not forget about our other local sports team, the Brooklyn Cyclones. Everyone’s favorite minor league ball players are gearing up for the 2012 season, with single tickets going on sale this Sunday at 10am. Promotions this season include free jerseys on Thursdays, fireworks shows on Fridays and Saturdays, and the chance to run the bases after the games (not just for kids any more) on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays. And, even more importantly, you can get tickets for as low as the single digits. The first home game is June 18th, against local rivals the Staten Island Yankees, so mark your calendars now.
