Steel Yourself

While we enjoy seeing the big names in music roll through our borough, sometimes it’s nicer to watch as a band starts to break through. This Tuesday at Cameo, Steel Phantoms will take the stage (among other rising acts like Cat Martino, Doe Paoro, and Shenandoah and the Night) after recent gigs at Union Pool and Pianos. We first saw them at a Said the Whale show and were so impressed with the up-and-coming Brooklyn-raised band and their fun, banter-laced live show that we became fans. See them in person, and we’re betting you will too. The entire night is  $5 advance/$8 at the door for four bands and a DJ set, so make sure you get there on time to get the full line-up.
