Three’s Company

At BAM’s Harvey Theater, the prolific stage and big screen actor Jonathan Pryce (whose career stretches way back to Brazil) stars in Harold Pinter’s darkly funny play, The Caretaker, in which two brothers  invite a tramp, played by Pryce, into their apartment. Audiences and critics including Charles Isherwood have been dazzled by the production, which plays up Pinter’s warped humor. Others, including our reviewer, were not as moved, but all agree that the revival is a respectable one. Tickets start at $25, and it runs through June 17.
