For the 14th year in a row, Green-Wood Cemetery will be celebrating Memorial Day with a free concert held outdoors on its breathtakingly beautiful lawn. As always, the ISO Symphonic Band, an orchestra composed of some of the city’s most musically talented students, will be performing works by composers who made Green-Wood their final resting place. If the weather cooperates, we can’t imagine a nicer way to spend the day than sitting on a blanket and taking in the sights and sounds. Food and drinks will be available for purchase, and you can take a trolley tour of the grounds after the show. Although the show is free, reservations are recommended.
