Okay, maybe Williamsburg’s industrial landscape doesn’t exactly conjure up images of Sonoma, but thanks to Brooklyn Winery it’s becoming an oenophile destination in its own right. Every Thursday starting at 5pm, the bar serves wine flights for patrons who want to taste and compare a collection of different vinos from the winery’s stellar menu, and things get really exciting this particular Thursday with the launch of eight new house-made wines. (We got a sneak peek and were particularly partially to the unoaked Finger Lakes riesling.) These labels have been a long time in the making, and to celebrate their release there will be drink specials and live music all night. In addition, the winery is also starting the first-ever-in-NYC wine growler program, so you can bottle up your favorite variety and drink it wherever and whenever your heart desires. Cheers!
