New comedy nights are always good news, but even we were taken aback by the kick-assery promised by the newest night in town—Tom Shillue’s Funny Story which will be held at the tasting room of Brooklyn Brewery. Shillue, an award-winning comedic storyteller, will be hosting Funny Story monthly, and its inaugural show is scheduled to include Bobby Tisdale (whose credits include Late Night with Jimmy Fallon and Funny or Die) and SNL writer/All-Around CutiePatootiePants John Mulaney. The event is $10 admission, but includes a free beer, so who’s the real winner? You, of course.
