Brooklyn Museum’s latest initiative, GO: a community curated open studio project, is like an open studios weekend on steroids. Every Brooklyn artist is invited to open his or her studio on Sept. 8 and 9 to the public, and afterward visitors will vote on who they would like to see in a group exhibition at the Museum in December. So far, roughly 1200 of the estimated 6,000-plus artists in Brooklyn have registered. Remaining artists are asked to sign up by Friday, June 29 to be a part of this great public art experiment.
