This weekend, Coney Island was filled to the brim with revelers for the 30th Mermaid Parade. Surf Avenue was lined with spectators who braved the heat and sun to watch the floats and marchers decked out in their mermaid finest–which in many cases is very little–mark the start of summer.
While there isn’t any complete nudity in the photos above, there are a few shots of people who come close, which you may want to keep in mind if you’re looking through this at work.
