Parties at the House of Yes, like the Northern Lights or a sighting of Dennis Duffy’s Rat King, are one of those indescribable life-events that you need to experience for yourself in person to really understand. Fortunately, Early December in July, an event co-presented with Sugarskull Productions this Friday (complete with a two-hour open bar from Brooklyn Brewery) is a great way to dip a toe in the shimmery-sparkle pool of WTF from which the best House of Yes nights are born. In keeping with the keepin’ it cool theme of this summer cold front, there’ll be a snow-cone bar, great live music, and a $2 discount off your $12 at the door admission if you come equipped with your best blue-hued party wear. Come prepared to beat the beat AND the heat.
