It’s not like we needed any proof that Adam Carolla’s recent comments about women being unfunny were patently untrue (not to mention totally gross), but Spike Hill’s Saw Her Stand-Up There this Sunday night is just another reminder that there are tons of exceptionally talented ladies who are absolutely killing it in comedy these days. For a $5 ticket, catch a group of stellar sets from sisters like Sarah Tollemache, Jamie Lee, Brook Van Poppelen, and one of my personal faves, Jessi Klein. The show is hosted by Andrea Ilene Shapiro and should be a great night of standup, so head over and laugh your Sunday night sads away. –K.H.
