Though 61 Local might be best known for their awesomely-curated local beer list, you’re totally missing out if you haven’t tried their wine—coming from a variety of vineyards in Brooklyn, Long Island, and upstate, they show the breadth of the wines being made just miles from the bar. Tonight, they’re starting a new tasting series that seems purpose-built for a low-key date night. Dubbed “Wine and Cheese Wednesday,” they’ll be shining a spotlight on their wine program, offering up a selection of three cheeses from Saxelby Cheesemongers that go perfectly with their libations.
