The Sixties Swing Again

By

The ’60s were a time for peace, love, good music and cool stuff all around (aside from the whole Vietnam War thing, Charles Manson, Birkenstocks and, well …let’s just leave it at that for now). Celebrate the best parts of the “Decade of Change” this Sunday at Brooklyn Bowl, when DJ Uncle Mike presents Woodstock Bowl. Vendors will be selling ’60s music memorabilia including the best psychedelic records, artwork, clothes, jewelry, comics and more, all set to a ’60s soundtrack. Also, legendary guitarist Gene Cornish from ’60s Brooklyn band The Young Rascals is going to be hanging out. Admission is free, flower children, free!
