What’s a great way to inject some novelty into the Smorgasburg? Watching competitive eaters stuff their faces for prizes and fame. The 9th Annual Chef One Dumpling Eating Contest is going down on the Williamsburg waterfront this weekend, and the two-minute timed competition is sure to bring out the Kobayashi admirers–and gawkers–in all of us. There will be both a men’s and women’s competition, and afterward you can hit the Smorg vendor tents and have an eating contest of your own.
