Ty One On

By

If you like garage rock, punk rock, soul, dancing and tying one on (in more than one sense of the phrase), then Saturday is the night for you. First, at The Well, Bushwick’s hottest new venue, catch garage punkers Thee Oh Sees and Ty Segall as they serenade you with their gritty rock ‘n’ roll for a few hours as you get blasted. Don’t get too blasted though, because the same way Ty Segall can’t stop putting out records (three so far this year) he’s not gonna stop the night there. He’ll be a special guest  at Jonathan Toubin’s first Soul Clap and Dance Off party at Brooklyn Bowl. The party has gotten so big that Toubin had to move it from its old home at Glasslands to Brooklyn Bowl to cater to all the dancing mods and rock ‘n’ rollers. So show up in your best Saturday night party outfit and get ready to dance your ass off for a chance to win a $100 cash prize and a $75 Metropolis Vintage shopping spree. The Clap also doubles as the official afterparty for the Ty Segall/Oh Sees show, so don’t be lame and do one without the other.
