One of the coolest things about living in Brooklyn is the opportunity to see comedians honing their craft in intimate, neighborhoody venues before they hit the big time and (invariably, it seems lately) leave us for the sun and the TV contracts that L.A. has to offer. Take advantage of what you’ve got this Monday night by checking out some great emerging acts at the Time Out Live show at Littlefield. Time Out New York comedy editor Matthew Love is slated to emcee the event, which will feature performances by Rory Scovel, Jamie Lee, the Lucas Brothers, Phoebe Robinson, Team Submarine and some surprise guests. The comics already have impressive resumes, including star turns on Last Comic Standing and stints on the late night circuit, College Humor, and at UCB, but mega-stardom is approaching fast. See them now, for just the cost of a $5 ticket, and you will thank yourself later.
