Tom Tom Club may have started out as a fun little side project for Talking Heads members Chris Frantz and Tina Weymouth, but after scoring a top 40s hit with “Genius of Love” the band got a little more recognition than it originally set out to. After years of hiatuses and actual breaking up and getting back together, the band is back again and bringing its unique tropical-influenced dance music to Brooklyn Bowl. A little post-hurricane partying with two ex-Talking Heads seems worth more than the measly $15 ticket for the show. Don’t miss it!
