Since many Brooklynites spend their Thanksgiving away from their families, or hate the idea of sitting at home and watching football with their loved ones, why not grab some food to go, run for the door, and head on out of your apartment? Videology has transformed itself from video rental shop to an amazing screening room and bar (their Twin Peaks Bingo was great), and on Thanksgiving they’ll be throwing a Thanksgiving Movie Marathon. Starting at 2pm they’ll be showing movies like Planes, Trains and Automobiles, A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving, Hannah and Her Sisters and more—and selected animated shorts curated by Secret Formula’s Spoons, Tunes and Booze. It’s free to get in, and you’re encouraged to dress up like a pilgrim! Bring your own food and wash it down with some delicious beer.
