For beer drinkers though, the ultimate benefit is at Brooklyn Brewery this Tuesday, with Drink for Good. The New York City Brewer’s Guild has gathered 16 breweries from all over, including Eataly Birreria, Bronx Brewery, Founders, Ommegang, Shmaltz Brewing Co. and Empire Brewing Co. The $40 ticket will get you unlimited pours of their best stuff, in your very own commemorative tasting glass. All proceeds go to three organizations on the front line of Sandy recovery– Rockaway Surf Club, Red Hook Initiative and Coney Recovers. Tickets and a full list of breweries here.
