The Reverse Shopping Commute

With the Brooklyn Night Bazaar, the Flea, craft fairs galore and local shops (like those in our 28 Days of Brooklyn Gifts Guide!) it seems silly to shop anywhere else, but there are a few Manhattan markets worth checking out. Williamsburg mainstay Artists and Fleas sets up in Chelsea Market each day from 10:30am to 7pm with designers like hélène pé; the Deck the Halls pop-up in the Meatpacking District features locals like BKLYN Dry Goods, and for the first time, the focus of Grand Central’s annual Holiday Fair is Brooklyn artisans, including Apotheke and With Love, from Brooklyn. Westchester will have a very hipster Christmas, it seems.
