Box Office Hits in the ‘Burg

Williamsburg Cinemas, on the corner of Grand Street and Driggs Avenue, is finally open. The first films screening at the multiplex, which features seven theaters, will be The Hobbit, Life of Pi in 3D and Lincoln. (Call ahead for times–718-302–3422–if the new site is still not live.) By this weekend you can catch This is 40 (which has so far scored a meh 60% on the Tomatometer), and on Christmas Day, Les Misérables and Django Unchained. The question is, will you want to see that epic film in Williamsburg Cinemas’ stadium-style seating or an intimate theater with a Quentin Tarantino-themed drink?
