Don’t celebrate Christmas? Spending the holiday away from the family this year? Latch on to a new tradition at Mile End this week. In honor of a tradition for many Jewish families–Chinese food and a movie on Christmas–the ever-popular Jewish-deli-via-Montreal will be serving up a $65 prix fixe on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and the day after Christmas. The menu includes items your bubbe would recognize, like hot and sour soup and BBQ duck, as well as some you wouldn’t find on your local take-out menu, like smoked bluefish toast and dan dan noodles with spicy lamb (a veggie option is also available.)
