We recently caught wind of SideTour, a very cool young company that’s in the business of connecting people with unique experiences. Browse their website and you’ll find, and then maybe book, everything from racing down the U.S. Luge track with a former Olympic medalist to learning how to make pasta with a renowned Italian chef or dining with an investment banker-turned-monk–experiences you just can’t find anywhere else and would have to work like crazy to arrange on your own. While not all their trips, tours, lessons and dinners are in Brooklyn, we thought they were such a great match for the Tip Sheet that we’ll be bringing you a few SideTour highlights each week. Here’s what we’ve got our eye on right now: Friday, March 8 or Saturday, March 9: Enjoy back-in-the-day no-amp salon jazz and a delicious fish fry buffet in a Bed Stuy Brownstone.
