The 1969 classic Easy Rideris a milestone in American filmmaking history. It’s a movie that represents the counterculture of the time, through the disillusionment of protagonists Billy and Captain America, as they burn through the streets on their motorcycles, from New Orleans to Los Angeles. This Friday and Saturday at midnight, Nitehawk will screen the film as part of its Karen Black retrospective series.
