Join a professional artist and teacher for Family Days, a free art-making workshop for families and kids of all ages, inspired by the Cultural Fluency exhibition on view at BRIC Rotunda Gallery (33 Clinton St.), the contemporary art space of BRIC Arts | Media | Bklyn. For this edition of Family Days, entitled Box Your Worlds: Brooklyn and Beyond, participants will make their own “travel time capsule,” using an exciting variety of map-covered papers, paper flags and travel stickers which with to decorate their own cardboard travel tote. All of these fun, inspirational materials will be provided, but young attendees are also encouraged to bring their own personal mementos of life in Brooklyn, travel photos and small, collected items to depict their own Brooklyn world and travels to other New York City neighborhoods and destinations around the globe.
