Crossing Brooklyn Ferry, the three-day short film and indie music festival curated by the Dessner Brothers of The National, docks at BAM starting Thursday. Each night promises a mix of buzzed-about bands and musicians, like Clare and The Reasons, Parquet Courts, and Olga Bell (of Dirty Projectors fame) on Thursday; Elanor Friedberger and Antibalas on Friday and Here We Go Magic and Phosphorescent on Friday; one of three headliners (The Roots, TV on the Radio or Solange); followed by dance parties in BAMcafé. Tickets are still available at $40-$50 a pop, or $100 for the whole shebang.
