Dustin Yellin’s art and studio space in Red Hook took a beating by Sandy last year, but it’s back with a new name and new classes. Now called Pioneer Works, the creative center offers an eclectic lineup of workshops for artists, tinkerers, cooks and the merely curious. Block printing (May 11 and 12); Traditional Asian Pickling with Sohui Kim of The Good Fork (June 2); a primer on electronic circuits (May 9 and 16); and lock picking (June 4) are among the offerings this spring and summer.
