Audio Books of a Different Breed

If spending your Saturday night listening to audio books sounds lame, you’ve never been to Novelization: A Reading Series Based on the Original Motion Picture. Essentially it’s dramatic readings of the book-versions of cult films like Total Recall, When Harry Met Sally and Bill & Teg’s Bogus Journey–nothing boring there–performed by funny people like Rob Sheffield, Bethany Hall and Sarah Knowles, who flex their funny bones working for places like 30 Rock and Rolling Stone. Novelization is hosted by Liam McEneaney, Marlow Riley and Heidi Vanderlee at Union Hall. Tickets are $7 and the show starts at 8pm sharp.
