Seventeen years after “Viva! La Woman,” the trippy, bubblegum pop charms of Cibo Matto are hard to forget, perhaps because their lyrics were so nonsensical. In fact, songs like “Know Your Chicken” and “Beef Jerky” now seem far ahead of the foodie curve in retrospect (along with their band name, which translates roughly to “Crazy Food” in Italian). All the more reason to indulge in Yuka Honda and Miho Hatori’s Sugar Water when they play Littlefield tonight and tomorrow Tickets are $20 in advance, $25 at the door.
