The internet is responsible for some pretty cool things, but one of the coolest is probably how I became real life internet friends with artist, graphic designer and pretty cool guy Adam J. Kurtz, better known on the internets as Adam JK. Adam’s approach to art and creating things generally has become one of my new favorite things, because it’s challenging and interesting the way all good art is. It manages to keep (and there’s no other way to put this) a friendliness to it whereas a lot of what’s out there just wants to hit you over the head a bunch. Adam is part of a huge group show RAW at Output where he’ll be showing his stuff along with other independent and independent-minded artists across all different types of mediums from more traditional visual arts like Adam’s to performance pieces to photography to hair. Tickets are $15 and available here.
