Thousands of people showed up at Commodore Barry Park in Fort Greene this past Saturday and Sunday for the annual Afropunk Festival. It wasn’t all punks and mosh pits either, as this summer’s celebration expanded its musical range to cover everything from hip-hop to hard rock, though there was plenty of thrashing and dance battling to be had.
