Fall Music Preview 2013

By

As summer winds down, here’s a rundown of some of the most exciting fall shows coming up over the next few months. And, this is only just the tip of the iceberg as more shows are being added all the time, and the official CMJ Music Marathon festival line-up is yet to be announced.

Nine Inch Nails (The Fun Star)

Barclays Center
620 Atlantic Ave.

It hasn’t even been quite a year since Jay-Z christened the Barclays Center and already it has become a world famous venue (or infamous as the home of last month’s twerking debacle). Justin Timberlake and Beyonce will grace the Barclays stage later this year, and industrial legends Nine Inch Nails will make their return to live performing after a hiatus. Also on the bill are Pearl Jam, Queens of the Stone Age, and crooner Michael Buble. And did we mention that Lionel Richie is gonna play there too? Hello indeed.

Of course if you’re not much into going to arena shows out of principle (or pocketbook), the smaller and more intimate Music Hall may be just your jam.
