If you de-stress and refresh with a satisfyingly ripped-from-the-headlines episode of Law & Order SVU each week like I do, then you may have noticed that in the latest episode the gang was in Williamsburg. While the hospital that was supposedly around the corner from the rape victim’s apartment on Roebling is definitely not in the neighborhood, and looked more like the Lower East Side than Brooklyn, Bamonte’s, where the gang gathered to toast Munch (who will now be a special investigator for the DA, so don’t fret, Richard Belzer fans) is definitely a Williamsburg institution.
