It’s the great Pupkin Charlie Brown! No but seriously, this Saturday, Oct. 26, Fort Greene PUPS is hosting its annual Halloween costume contest for canines on monument plaza in Fort Greene Park. The only thing cuter than a little kid dressed up as a piece of candy corn or a bedsheet ghost is a dog in a bumblebee costume. If you don’t believe us, check it out yourself. The judging starts at noon, and the contest is happening in conjunction with the Fort Greene Park Conservancy’s annual Halloween Fest for kids, so plan to bring both your two-legged and four-legged children out for an afternoon of fun that’ll include hay rides, a pumpkin patch and face painting starting at noon as well.
