Considering Tartt is a notoriously reclusive author, not keen on the whole book tour thing, her sole reading in Brooklyn this Tuesday at Congregation Beth Elohim is a special occasion indeed, and will no doubt be packed with fans who first fell in love with her after reading The Secret History. If you’d like to really dive into her latest book, you could also visit the new exhibition of paintings by Dutch masters at The Frick, including her titular “Goldfinch.”
