When you enter our giveaway, you’ll have a chance at three great prizes presented by Brooklyn Based, design site Remodelista and renovation marketplace Sweeten.com. One lucky winner will get:
–A copy of Design Brooklyn: Renovation, Restoration, Innovation, Industry by Anne Hellman and Michel Arnaud, signed by Mike D of the Beastie Boys (whose home is featured in the book)! Design Brooklyn is a visual exploration of the unique and diverse architecture, interiors, and design of public and private spaces in today’s Brooklyn, based on the blog by the same name.
–A copy of Remodelista: A Manual for the Considered Home by Julie Carlson with the editors of Remodelista, which comes out today, Nov. 5.
–An amazing, vintage Moroccan Beni Ouarain carpet from Breuckelen Berber, the only shop in Brooklyn with a dedicated collection of Moroccan carpets. The carpet measures 12’5″ x 6’5″, is handmade of 100% wool, and is in excellent condition. With stippled lozenge motifs containing chains of diamonds within (symbolizing fertility), this vintage Moroccan Beni Ouarain carpet shifts from a more open to closed structure as the piece progresses and features a natural, undyed dark brown pattern with side borders. On the reverse side, its creation date, “1982,” is evident as woven by the artist.
The contest ends 11:59pm EST on Monday, Nov. 11 and we’ll notify the winner by email on Tuesday, Nov. 12 (read the Terms and Conditions here). When you enter, you’ll also be signed up for Remodelista’s daily email of inspiring home design, and Sweeten’s weekly, inside look at renovation projects around New York, as well as Brooklyn Based (if you’re not already a subscriber).
Together the prize package is worth over $4,000, along with priceless advice and ideas for decorating and renovating your home. Enter now for a chance to win some seriously stylish prizes.
