Brooklyn fashion designer Samantha Pleet, whose self-proclaimed love for 1950s “classic bohemian glamour” shows in her modern-vintage style, is having a fall sample sale this weekend of one-of-a-kind pieces from her archives like velvet shorts, piped dresses, winter coats and wool capes (which have the most impressive markdown, $150 from $400), plus discounts on her fall collection and new Wolverine 1000 Mile by Samantha Pleet shoes. It runs from noon to 7pm Saturday and Sunday at Horizons Vintage, with drinks and a chance to chat with the designer herself.
