Are you a Doctor Who superfan who simply cannot keep it together waiting for the widely-anticipated, 50th anniversary special of the sci-fi television phenomenon to drop on Nov. 23? Geeks Who Drink has created the perfect way for you to burn off some nervous energy and showcase your extensive knowledge of the BBC cult favorite with Don’t Blink: A Doctor Who Quiz! Test your expertise about the last Time Lord—who has been played by 11 different actors since the show’s 1963 debut–in a themed pub quiz that will take place at venues in 20 American cities this Saturday night, exactly one week before The Day of the Doctor airs simultaneously in the U.S. and the U.K. New York-based Whovians who want in on the action (not to mention a shot at the cash prize) should show up at SuperCollider with a few teammates (six players max), an entry fee of $5 per person and the stomach for what is sure to be some pretty fierce competition. The questions will focus primarily on the modern series, but you should be prepared to be grilled about the classic episodes, too. Allons-y, guys, this should be fantastic!
